Where To Find the Light Machine Gun in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

The Light Machine Gun can currently be found anywhere weapons can be found in the game, whether that be in chests or on the ground. It will always be a random find, as there isn’t an exotic variant you can find in guaranteed spots sold by NPCs. There isn’t an uncommon rarity variant, but you can find uncommon rarity and up variants in the loot pool.

As far as ammo type, the Light Machine Gun uses the same ammo as weapons in the assault rifle category so it definitely is there to change loadouts.

If you want to get some practice in with the Light Machine Gun now that it is unvaulted, the weapon can be found in Creative mode in Epic and Rare rarities.

The Light Machine Gun was a force to be reckoned with in previous seasons as the damage and fire rate allowed for the weapon to be particularly destructive to player buildings. Fortnite players who now stick to the Zero Build modes have to be especially careful without the added cover.
