How to Get a Torch in Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars

Torches are necessary for exploring caves in this game, as they’ll allow you to see the path that lies ahead of you. To get a torch, you’ll need to buy one. The earliest this can be done is at the Item Shop in the town of Thriceton.

The torch will cost 100G, which isn’t too high a price. If you need more money, simply exit the town and fight a few monsters, or sell some items at the shop.

Voice of Cards will warn you before you enter any dark area without a torch, but you can still enter caves without one in hand. However, it’ll be far more difficult to see where you’re going. As a result, less of the card-like floor will be lit up and you won’t be able to move as quickly or as far as you normally would when using the right stick to skip card spaces.

How to Use It

To use the torch, simply walk into any dark area. The game will then automatically warn you of the dangers of walking into such an area, then ask you if you want to use the torch. Select it and your path should be a little brighter.
