Tribes of Midgard is a new co-op multiplayer game that’s just been released for PC and PlayStation. The game allows players to get together in teams of 10, and explore a large map while scavenging for resources and defending their village from dangerous Helthings and Jotunns. In order to keep up with the growing threat, you’ll need to upgrade your gear. Here’s how to get Helthing Fingernails in Tribes of Midgard.
Getting Helthing Fingernails in Tribes of Midgard
As the name suggests, Helthing Fingernails can only be obtained by killing the Helthing enemies, who will come to attack your village at night. However, not all of them will drop it.
You’ll want to look out for the large, hunched over mages that make their way slowly to your tree. Kill those, and you’ll have a chance of getting a Fingernail from them. We noticed that these enemies tend to appear a bit more frequently after killing your first Jotunn, so you’ll need to survive for at least three or four days and take down the Jotunn in order to farm them more efficiently.
They also appear more frequently during a Blood Moon, so keep an eye out for them during that time.
Helthing Fingernails are used as crafting materials, and can be used to forge Sigyn’s Blade once you’ve upgraded the blacksmith. Sigyn’s Blade is one of the best swords in the game, and allows you to deal Void damage to enemies. It’s not particularly powerful against the Helthings themselves, but it can be very effective when fighting Jotunns and other regular enemy types.
That’s all you need to know about how to get Helthing Fingernails and what they’re used for in Tribes of Midgard. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
