Grapple – Titanfall 2

Titanfall 2 is all about fast-paced movement and navigation of the maps. You’ll be wall running around rooms, leaping onto the top of buildings, and sliding through doorways to take out enemies inside. One particularly handy gadget to help you out is the grapple.

In order to use your grapple, you’ll first need to make sure you’ve got it equipped as your tactical gadget. To check this, go to the Customize option from the Multiplayer menu, and then select Pilot. Here, you should see two boxes toward the top of your screen. One will be your tactical gadget and the other will be your ordnance gadget. You’ll want to select the box that is automatically selected once you’ve chosen a custom pilot loadout to change. Here, make sure that the tactical gadget is the grapple. Once this is done head into a game.

To fire off your grapple, all you need to do is aim where you want it to attach to and press L1/ LB. This will fire off the grapple in that direction and it’ll automatically latch onto anything that gets in its way.

That’s all there is to using your grapple in Titanfall 2. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
