Getting a Bigger Backpack with SDUs in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

SDUs are back again, having been in Borderlands games since the beginning. They increase the number of items you can carry in your backpack along with the amount of max ammo you can hold for each weapon type.

After you retrieve the Sword of Souls early in the game, you’ll return to the central hub town, Brighthoof, and use it. After that scene, you’ll be introduced to various NPCs around the town, including the blacksmith who will give you your first SDU for free.

The SDU upgrade station is to the left of the blacksmith and her forge, and she’ll point it out the very first time you visit, so it’s hard to miss.

Return to her whenever you have enough gold to purchase more SDUs to get some inventory and ammo capacity upgrades. You’ll need these, since better loot starts to appear and enemies take more shots to go down as you progress through the game.

That’s everything you need to know about how to increase your backpack size and get SDUs in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Be sure to search Twinfinite for more tips, tricks, and other useful info on the game as you explore the Wonderlands.
