For PC players, the download and install size for Tell Me Why appears to be just 9 GB. We feel this may just be for episode 1, and that episode’s 2 and 3 will further bolster that file size. This is further reinforced by the Steam Store listing for the game, which claims players will need a minimum of 25 GB storage space.
It’s also worth pointing out that the file sizes for each episode and the total Tell Me Why install size can and probably will change over the next month or so. Dontnod Entertainment still needs to iron out some bugs and minor issues which will no doubt increase or decrease the overall file size.
For now, though, ensure you’ve got about 20 GB free on your Xbox One or PC hard drive and you should have enough space for Tell Me Why regardless of any future changes.

On the adventure, players will help uncover the truth of their events in a heartfelt, emotional story where there’s more to it than meets the eye.
