All Of The New Stages in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
In the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate presentation at E3 2018, the game’s director, Masahiro Sakurai, said that “we made including every single fighter ever our number one goal, so I’m kind of hoping you aren’t expecting too many new challengers.” The same mentality rings true for the stages, too, it seems; although they haven’t announced that every single stage is returning, Nintendo seems to be placing priority on bringing back as many past stages as possible over throwing in more brand new stages. They could reveal a bunch more in the future, but as of right now, there really aren’t as many new stages coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as previous Smash Bros. games.
All New Stages in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- Moray Towers: This stage comes right out of the Splatoon series. It features a single tower with several slopes which fighters will automatically traverse in a downward direction.
- Great Plateau Tower: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will not only be represented by Link’s champion’s tunic but also the new Great Plateau Tower stage. The top of the tower can be destroyed if it takes too much damage.
- New Donk City Hall: This stage based on the kingdom from Super Mario Odyssey has only been seen briefly in Mario’s introduction video. Pauline and her band appear in the background.
- Dracula’s Castle: The Castlevania series will be seeing its first appearance ever in a Smash Bros. game with Ultimate. Dracula’s Castle will feature many staple Castlevania bosses, including the big man himself, Dracula.
