Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury Preload & Unlock Times

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury has arrived, allowing fans to replay the Wii U classic all over again, or for the first time if they never got the chance to way back when. In addition to this port, there’s also some all-new content in Bowser’s Fury, which does away with individual levels and lumps them all into one open-world space, Lapcat Lake. In this guide, we’ll be running you through the Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury preload and unlock times on Nintendo Switch.

What the Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury Preload Time Is

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury can be preloaded as of right now. The total game size comes in at around 2.8 GB, too, so it shouldn’t take too long to get the game downloaded so you’re all ready to play by the time the official release date rolls around.

It’s worth keeping in mind that you will have to pre-order and pay for the game in full if you want to preload it. To do this, go to the Nintendo eShop and use your Credit Card or Nintendo Account Credit to purchase the game. It should then begin automatically installing on your console.

What the Unlock Time Is

As is usually the case, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will unlock on its official release date, Feb. 12. Specifically, the game will unlock at exactly midnight in your region’s time zone, so you can jump straight into the classic platforming action as soon as possible if you’ve got the preload all downloaded and ready to go ahead of time.

Outside of that, there’s not a whole lot else you need to know regarding the preload and unlock times for the game. For more tips and tricks, head on over to our guide wiki, or check out more of our coverage on the game below.
