When you first start up Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, you’ll be limited to tending to your chickens and crops. After a while, however, the game opens up, offering your new seeds to plant, animals to tame, and Makers to turn your milk and eggs into processed goods to fetch you a higher profit. But what about sheep in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town?

While you get chickens and cows fairly early on within Spring Year 1, Sheep won’t come until a specific point in the game.

How to Get Sheep in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town

You’ll get your first sheep on the 1st day of Summer in Year 1. Walk over the bridge on your farm to the second area where your barn originally was and you should find a sheep walking around.

Walk over to it and press A to tame it, you can now name it and select which barn you’d like it to go to.

A sheep can be sheered every few days and its wool used to make yarn, which in turn can be used to make cloth. This can be a very lucrative additional revenue stream, so we’d recommend getting more sheep when you’ve got enough funds to do so.

After you’ve got your first sheep, you can go to the Animal Store in Olive Town itself and buy a sheep for 3,000G. Note that you cannot buy a sheep from the store until you’ve found and tamed the first one on your farm.
