How to Save Your Game in Stardew Valley

Recommended Videos

Stardew Valley is a farming life simulator that will have you pulling off a ton of chores through the day. As such, you’re going to want to make sure that your hard labor is saved before you exit, right?

Luckily, you save automatically every single night. When you’re done with the day, head home and get into your bed to sleep through the night and, consequently, save your progress. You’ll see a message that your progress has been saved, your earnings for the day, any levels you might have earned, and you’ll be up the next morning. It’s very handy that you won’t have to remember to do it yourself. Especially since you might have some days where you do a ton of stuff. It would be a shame to lose all of that.

This is the point where you’re going to want to exit your game if you’re done with playing. Bring up your inventory menu and click the red circle tab that appears. This is where you go when you want to exit the game. There you have it! You’ve saved your progress and managed to tear yourself away from Stardew Valley.
