Amiibos, for those not in the know, are collectible toys that can be used to unlock special items, game modes, and much more in specific games, and Splatoon 3 is no different. What do they do, and how do you use them in Nintendo’s latest game? Well, this guide is for you. Here’s how to use Amiibo and what they do in Splatoon 3.

Once you’ve entered the lobby, head towards the Amiibo Box, it’s right behind you, next to the Splatfest shop. Once you’ve clicked A, follow the instructions.

What do Splatoon Amiibo Do

Only amiibo specifically made for the Splatoon franchise are used to unlock special gear that can’t be obtained in-game. They are as follows:

The Pearl Amiibo unlocks the following:
