How to Get Food Tickets in Splatoon 2

Recommended Videos

If you’ve had an explore of Inkopolis in Splatoon 2, you’ve probably notice that there’s a food truck just behind where you spawn. Crusty Sean’s Food Truck offers up a variety of tasty dishes that grant special buffs, abilities, and multiplayer bonuses. Unfortunately, to get your hands on one of Crusty Sean’s delicacies, you’ll need to get Food Tickets, so here’s what you need to know.

Food Tickets in Splatoon 2 can be found by simply playing through the single-player mode. You can found one or two every so often in one of the large, breakable crates, but they’re not very common.

Your best bet for racking up a decent number of Food Tickets in Splatoon 2 is instead to check out the Salmon Run mode. This is Splatoon 2’s online co-op mode that rewards you with Bonus Orbs every time you complete a game. Just next to where you can partake in Salmon Run, you’ll find a shutter which, when you stand in front of, you’ll have the option to “Ask for a bonus.” Go ahead and do this and you’ll be given a random reward dependent on how rare the orb you’ve collected is. Fortunately for you, Food Tickets are one of the most common rewards that Bonus Orbs will offer.

Once you’ve got your hands on all of those precious Food Tickets, head over to Crusty Sean’s and pick your meal. Now, you’re all ready to make the most of your online sessions.
