Spider-Man PS4 is one of the very best Marvel games ever released, and its original versions of Peter Parker, Mary Jane, Miles Morales, and more are all charming characters. Although the main game may take you anywhere from 10-20 hours, there’s more on the way with The City That Never Sleeps DLC, three different episodes that actually take place after the main story. The first episode ‘The Heist’ stars Black Cat, and puts her history with Spider-Man front and center. Here’s how to download and play the Spider-Man PS4 DLC, The Heist.

How to Download The Heist

The Heist is a standalone DLC episode you can find on the PS Store. It can be purchased on its own for $9.99, or it comes as part of The City That Never Sleeps season pass. Whichever route you choose to go, you’ll need to head to the PS Store and download the DLC.

You can do this by searching Spider-Man and going to its store page, then selecting the add-ons category. Alternatively, you can simply search The Heist and find the page that way. The file comes in at just under 2GB, so it should be a fairly quick download.

How to Play The Heist

Once the DLC episode is all downloaded and good to go, boot up Spider-Man PS4. To access the DLC you’ll need to continue your save file and load into the game. Once you have control of Spidey, hit the touchpad to bring up the menu, then use L1 or R1 to tab over to the new DLC menu on the very right side. Here you’ll see the four different campaigns the game has, the main campaign and then three others, one for each DLC. Select The Heist and the game will load up the new campaign for you to play through. Of course, this loads a totally new instance so if you’re in the middle of something important you should finish that before starting the new campaign. Now you’re ready to go with a brand new Spider-Man PS4 story.
