How Long It Takes to Cross the Map in Spider-Man PS4

As you’d expect from a game all about Marvel’s premier web-slinger, Insomniac’s PS4 exclusive Spider-Man game is set in Manhattan, New York. Or course, it’s not an exact replica of the real-world city, but it looks pretty true to life. Whether you’re familiar with the location’s layout or not, you’ll probably want to know how big it is in the game. Here’s how long it takes to cross Spider-Man PS4’s map, so that you can get an idea of its size.

In our experience playing through the game, it took us exactly 4 minutes and 2 seconds to cross the entire map. As you go, you might pass famous New York landmarks like the Empire State Building, Central Park, or the Flatiron Building, or even places that are from Spider-Man’s superhero filled world rather than our own. The tallest building in the game, which you’ll need to look out for if you want all the trophies, isn’t actually in the real world city, but we don’t want to spoil what it is. What you pass depends which route you take, of course. To see which route we took, and what we passed along the way, you can check out our video below.

Of course, how long it takes to get across the map exactly depends on a few things. Firstly, how good are you at swinging through the air seamlessly? How many enemies or obstacles are in the way? And, of course, which route you take? It’ll be interesting to see how quickly it is possible to get across if you’re trying to set a record.

That’s all there is to know about how long it takes to cross the map in Spider-Man PS4. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our ever-growing wiki guide.
