Note: Some players are reporting that the auto save function appears to be glitched or incredible flawed. We highly recommend that you manually save regularly to avoid lost time.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is finally out and South Park and TRPG fans can finally return to Matt and Trey’s world as the new kid. You’ll mostly just be farting and pooping a lot, but you’ll also adopt a new superhero persona to solve crimes and fight injustice with.

While you’re fighting 6th graders, the Raisins girls, or whomever, at some point you’re probably going to want to save your game and take a break, so you can return to your normal non-superhero life.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole features a very “advanced” auto save feature. The game will auto save your progress at various times throughout your play time.

You can also manually save too however. To save your game, access the the main menu by pressing the Start/Menu button. From there you’ll see the option to save and you can create a hard save file, pretty much at any point you want throughout the game and pick up exactly where you left off. The auto save feature will be there for you in case the game freezes (no reports of that, just saying), you forget to save, or whatever the case may be. Feel free though to create as many hard saves as you would like as well though.

That does it for how to save in South Park: The Fractured But Whole, best of luck heroes and be sure to check our ever-growing wiki for more tips, tricks, and guides.
