How Long Libra of Souls Takes to Beat & How Many Chapters There Are in SoulCalibur VI

Here’s everything you need to know about how long Libra of Souls takes to beat in SoulCalibur VI and how many chapters there are.

SoulCalibur VI marks the return of the series after over six long years. Alongside the inclusion of The Witcher’s Geralt as a guest character, players can also now check out two different story modes. Libra of Souls is a new kind of story mode to the series, which sees players creating their own character and traveling around a world map. You’ll complete main quests and side quests on your epic adventure, and the battles usually have some restrictions or rules to mix things up from the standard fighting affair. With this being an entirely new mode to the series, chances are you’re wondering how long Libra of Souls takes to beat in SoulCalibur VI.

Libra of Souls’ length will vary depending on how much time you want to put into its side content. Playing through just the story missions alone will likely take you about 10 hours in total. However, for those wanting to experience everything that this new Libra of Souls mode has to offer, you can easily add an additional 15 hours on top of that.

All of the main and side missions you’ll find in SoulCalibur VI’s Libra of Souls is divided up into seven different chapters. These won’t see you embarking to different maps altogether. They’re really just there to signal that you’ve reached a specific turning point in the story.

Is There a Traditional Story Mode?

If you’re looking for a more traditional story mode in SoulCalibur VI then fear not, as Soul Chronicle is the mode for you. This is your more “standard” type of story mode in a fighting game. Each of the characters has their own dedicated story that plays out in short visual novel-style segments.

Playing both Soul Chronicle and Libra of Souls is the best way to ensure that you get the most out of SoulCalibur VI, as the two story modes intersect at multiple points to tell an even larger, overarching story.
