How to Get a Cow Plant in Sims 4

Recommended Videos

Sims 4 is filled with all sorts of wacky activities, and then you have plain ‘ol farming. While you can plant your typical flora, have you ever thought about cultivating a cow? Well, now you can with your own cow plant seed.

There are different ways you can get your hands on the berry – from fishing at the far back waters of Oasis Springs Park or Forgotten Grotto, finding it in space, digging it up as treasure, or harvesting it by grafting. However, the easiest way to get the seed is through fishing, so go grab your rod and get to it. Once you manage to snag one, you can plant the berry on the ground or a planter regardless of your gardening level. It will grow in three stages, from Horns, Stem, and Full Grown Plant.

Depending on your gardening level, you can Fertilize, Weed, Water, Talk To, and tend to the plant. When it finally matures, you can Play, Feed, Eat Cake, Pet, Milk, and Collect Sample from your cow plant. It’s worth noting that you have to feed the plant at least once every 12 hours, or it will lure your Sims with its cake tongue. If your Sim decides to eat the cake tongue, the cow plant will devour your character, which could even result in an untimely death. If you don’t feed it for another 12 hours, your plant will die off and cannot be revived, only leaving its skeleton.
