Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the latest action game from FromSoftware, and it’s every bit as tricky and cryptic as you might expect. Here’s what to do with the Young Lord’s Bell Charm in Sekiro.

Where to Get the Young Lord’s Bell Charm

The Young Lord’s Bell Charm is a key item you can get fairly early on in the game.

In the Ashina Outskirts area, after making your way past the first mini-boss, General Naomori Kawarada, you’ll find yourself in a village of sorts. Instead of heading straight, which will eventually lead you to the Chained Ogre, stick to the right.

Look out for a short structure with a woman standing on the second floor. Right outside the house, you’ll find a wounded man on the ground.

Talk to the woman, and she’ll hand over the Young Lord’s Bell Charm.

What to Do With It

With the Young Lord’s Bell Charm in hand, head back to the Dilapidated Temple, where the Sculptor is. Instead of talking to him, look to his left to find the Buddha statue. Now that you have the Charm, you’ll be able to interact with it.

Upon interacting with the Buddha statue in Sekiro, you’ll be transported to the past, where you get to explore a whole new area called the Hirata Estate. This area is packed with its own share of loot, enemies to kill, and bosses to defeat.

From what we’ve seen so far, it seems like this area might be optional, but it’s worth exploring anyway as you can get Gourd Seeds and Memory to power up your Healing Gourd and increase your Attack Power.

If you’re having trouble with this area in Sekiro, you can always interact with the Sculptor’s Idol to head back to the Ashina Outskirts and continue exploring if you wish.
