This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

If you’ve checked out Rocket League since going free-to-play last week, you may have spotted a number of Fortnite Llama-Rama challenges that can net you some neat, new cosmetics. Completing each challenge will unlock some sort of Fortnite-themed cosmetic. One of them requires players to ‘Get MVP in any online match with the Llama Wheels.’ If you’re unsure what Rocket League’s MVP is or you’re looking for some tips to get it easily, you’re in the right place. We’ve explained everything about MVP in Rocket League below.

What Is MVP in Rocket League?

MVP stands for ‘Most Valuable Player’ in pretty much every example of the abbreviation being used, and it’s no different in Rocket League.

What this means is that you’ve essentially been the best player in that match. The player who gets the most points (which can be checked on the scoreboard at the end of or during a match) will be given the MVP status.

This is marked by a star icon to the right of their names on the scoreboard at the end of a match, as shown in the screenshot below.

How to Get MVP in Rocket League Easily

The easiest way to get MVP in Rocket League is to play a ‘Casual’ 2v2 match. The MVP award cannot be earned in a 1v1 match, but with 2v2, you’ve only got to compete against three other players to get the highest score in the match, as opposed to trying in a 3v3 or Chaos (4v4) match.

Playing a Casual 2v2 match should see you earning MVP far easier than if you try to get it in a ‘Competitive’ ranked match, or in a game with more players on each time. Try and score a few goals, make a few saves, and get involved in the action as best as possible, and you should hopefully land yourself an easy MVP.

MVP Llama-Rama Challenge

Remember that if you’re trying to complete the Llama-Rama challenge in Rocket League, you’ll need to get MVP in any online match with the Llama Wheels equipped to your car.

Make sure you equip them as soon as you get them so you no longer have to worry about it.

That’s everything you need to know on Rocket League’s MVP award. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to search for Twinfinite, or check out more of our coverage on the game below.
