How to Repair the Vehicle in Rage 2

While you’re driving around the world of Rage 2 you’ll see a red bar in the bottom left of the screen, representing your vehicle’s health. As you take damage the bar will go down, and once depleted you’ll enter Safe Mode, stopping your vehicle from moving at all.

The bad news here is that you’ll need to get out of your vehicle to repair it, so if you’re in the middle of a group of enemies you’ll likely need to take them out before you can finish repairs.

When you do want to do repairs head to the front of the vehicle and, when prompted, hold down L1 (PS4) or LB (Xbox One) to repair the vehicle until the bar is full. Once full, your vehicle is ready to go and you can head back out into the open world.

How to Upgrade Your Vehicle

Of course, you’re also able to upgrade your vehicle, making it an even deadlier weapon of death. After winning the first ChazCar race, about an hour in, you’ll unlock the vehicles tab.

Now just press the touchpad or options button to open the menu, and tab all the way to the right to Vehicles.

From there you’ll be able to view all of the various upgrades, including things like missiles and ejector seats. You’ll need auto parts to unlock upgrades, and you can find these scattered throughout the open world, and oftentimes get them as rewards for completing quests.

Once you have the part just select and upgrade and press X (PS4) or A (Xbox One) to purchase it.

That’s everything you need to know about how to repair your vehicle in Rage 2. For even more tip, tricks, and guides make sure to search Twinfinite, or check out our ever-expanding Rage 2 guide wiki.
