How to Get Mega Stones in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon
Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon bring back some of the popular mechanics from the series. One returning feature is Mega Evolution, which you can unlock by heading over to the Poni Plains on Poni Island after becoming the Champion. Dexio and Sina will meet you there and teach you about Mega Evolution while providing you with the Key Stone.
In order for it to work, you will also need the corresponding Mega Stone for the specific Pokemon that will evolve. Here’s where you can find the Mega Stones in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon:

Take note that Rayquaza has no Mega Stone and must learn Dragon Ascent for its Mega Evolution. To learn it in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, head over to the Pokemon Center in Seafolk Village. The move tutor there can teach Dragon Ascent to your Rayquaza.
