Before you can evolve a Hisuian Growlithe, you’ll need to catch one. This Pokemon can be found in the Cobalt Coastlands. Look for it in the Veilstone Cape and Windbreak Stand areas.

Evolving Hisuian Growlithe works similarly to how it does in previous games. Specifically, you’ll need a Fire Stone to be able to evolve it. Simply use a Fire Stone in your inventory on the Growlithe you wish to evolve into Arcanine.

Finding a Fire Stone is a little bit trickier, though. You can obtain evolution stones from the Trading outpost in Jubilife Village. Here, you can exchange Merit Points for items. You can purchase a Fire Stone from the trader for 1,000 Merit Points.
