For those who have upgraded to Sword & Shield’s first expansion, Isle of Armor, there are some new Pokemon to catch. That includes Sandile, Krokorok & Krookodile, a family of ground/dark-type Pokemon that was first introduced to Pokemon back in Gen V and now makes its way to Sword & Shield. If you’re wondering how to evolve Krokorok in Pokemon Isle of Armor, here’s what you need to know.
Just before we dive in, though, let’s first recap where players can obtain a Sandile and Krokorok.
The Potbottom Desert at the very north end of the Isle of Armor is the location those who do not yet have a Sandile will want to head. One should spawn pretty regularly here and you shouldn’t have any trouble at all catching one.
Once you have Sandile, you will need to increase its level to 29 to evolve it to Krokorok.
How to Evolve Krokorok in Pokemon Isle of Armor
Once you have your Krokorok, you’ll simply need to increase your friendship with it and raise the Pokemon to at least level 40. Once you have done so, Krokorok will naturally evolve into Krookodile.
Remember, all Pokemon level-up after being used in battle, but you can always use experience candy to level them more quickly. Candy comes in different sizes that each give a different XP boost, which is as follows:
- XL – 30000
- L – 10000
- M – 3000
- S – 800
- XS – 100
Rare Candy immediately boosts your Pokemon by one level.
That is everything you need to know about how to evolve Krokorok in Pokemon Isle of Armor. For more useful tips and guides on the expansion, Twinfinite has you covered with an extensive guide wiki that features both Sword & Shield and Isle of Armor content.
