Persona 5: How to Skip Cutscenes

How to Skip Persona 5 Cutscenes

Recommended Videos

Persona 5 has an awesome story, but it might not be for everyone. Maybe you think it’s way too long, or maybe you’ve already seen the cutscene because you got wrecked a previous time and needed to reload. Regardless of what your reasoning is, you can skip cutscenes! It’s just not that obvious for most of them how you can do this.

Whenever you see the option to “FFWD” on the bottom right of your screen, you can hit Options to make it speed through the scene. This is used, for example, when you’re fusing two Personas. If you don’t see this option, try hitting any button, and you should see a Skip prompt now. Then, simply hit Options and you will skip on through the entire cutscene. Also, mashing X will make dialogue move quicker, in case you’re interested in that.

I personally don’t know why you’d want to skip the cinematic cutscenes, but hey, using your time wisely is a big component of the game, so good on you! Be sure to apply this to the day to day activities you need to decide to partake in while you’re playing the game.
