How to Get Saving Grace in Octopath Traveler

Recommended Videos

There are eight classes in Octopath Traveler, each with their own unique abilities and traits. The Thief, for example, prioritizes stealing items and debuffing foes while the Hunter is all about recruiting wild animals to the party. Ophilia’s main class, the Cleric, focuses on Holy damage and keeping the team topped up with a wide range of curative abilities. One of the Cleric’s many passive abilities in Octopath Traveler is called Saving Grace, and the skill really lives up to its name. That being said, here’s how to get Saving Grace for yourself in the game.

For a quick rundown, Saving Grace is a passive skill that allows the user to heal him or herself beyond their maximum HP. That basically means that you can overheal yourself, getting you out of situations that would usually result in a one-hit kill. Saving Grace is the last passive ability for the Cleric in Octopath Traveler, and you can get it after unlocking enough skills in the repertoire. The only way to do this is by spending job points on class-specific abilities, so the more you learn more active skills for combat, the faster you can unlock Saving Grace.

If you want more job points in Octopath Traveler, you will have to grind for it by defeating enemies. At the end of each match, you will get a set number of points depending on your performance and the enemies you defeat. Moreover, it’s also worth noting that you won’t be able to unlock the passive skill for the other characters aside from Ophilia until chapter 2, when you unlock the secondary job for other characters.

That’s basically the gist of how to get Saving Grace in the game. Check out of expansive Octopath Traveler wiki for more tips and tricks on the game.
