To make it to the top of the ranks in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, players will have to learn an array of skills and techniques capable of taking down the competition, and change up their Jutsu to match the challenge at hand.

The latest entry in the growing list of Naruto-inspired video game offerings, Shinobi Striker pits players from around the world against each other in fast-paced, Jutsu-hurling battles for turf, flags and renown amongst the community. With hundreds of options for the techniques and just a player can equip their fully customizable character with though, it’s vital to change up one’s movies regularly to ensure victory is more than just a possibility, but a reachable goal.

To change from one Jutsu to another in Shinobi Striker, players first need to unlock them via training with the different masters available throughout the game. Players have access to a few mainstay masters and they’re just at the start of the game – namely Naruto, Yamato, Sakura and Sasuke – and can unlock more with the completion of VR missions for the different townsfolk scattered throughout the hub world. Though the difficulty of VR missions varies, most can be completed at any level and become even easier with each new Jutsu unlocked.

After a master is unlocked, players then need to assign them as their master to start building up training points. This can be done by speaking Sasuke, who is found to the right of the VR Ninjutsu Arena’s staircase. Afterward, players need only compete in Shinobi Striker’s online matches and VR missions to build up training points, and once a new rank is reached, they’ll have a chance to unlock one of their master’s Jutsu. Once they do, they can then speak to Sakura at the Inn found to the left of the Hokage Estate to change their Jutsu via the Change Battle Equipment option. Note that some Jutsu are limited to certain classes, and can not be changed over if this is the case.
