The industrial engine is one of the many resources you’ll need when crafting automobiles and other machinations in the game. If you’re low on supplies, here’s where to get an Industrial Engine in My Time at Portia.

Like many of the old relic parts in My Time at Portia, you can get the Industrial Engine through mining. It’s an arduous process that requires you to hack away until you eventually find it.

There are two particular ruins that house industrial engines in the game:

  • Abandoned Ruins #2
  • Hazardous Ruins

When you’re mining in the Abandoned Ruins, there’s always a chance you might dig up an Industrial Engine. The drops are always random, so you could get really lucky after a few digs. On the other hand, you might be spending a few hours mining if you aren’t.

If you don’t want to test your luck, you can head on over to the third level of the Hazardous Ruins in My Time at Portia. There, you’ll find the Engine in most of the blue chests scattered on the third floor.

One important thing to note, however, is that these ruins unlock only Spring 17 in My Time at Portia. On top of that, you need to survive a sparring session with one of three Civil Corps members before they grant you access.

What to Make With an Industrial Engine

Now that you finally have your hands on the Engine, here’s everything you can craft with it in My Time at Portia:

  • Printing Press
  • Recycling Machine
  • Lift Controls
  • Fire Powered Generator
  • The Driller
  • Hoister
