Fucium Ore is a rare resource that is used for crafting gear and equipment in Monster Hunter World. Like most of the other metals and ores you can get in the game, trying to farm for Fucium Ore will require a little bit of luck on your part as the drops from the collection nodes are based on RNG.

That said, this material can only be found in the Elder’s Recess locale, which is an area that you unlock fairly late into the game. Areas 6, 12, and 13, in particular, are full of nodes that are easily accessible.
