We’re happy to be the bearers of good news this time around. Metro Exodus is PS4 Pro compatible and makes good use of the additional power. Metro Exodus runs at a 4K resolution on PS4 Pro, and aims for 30 FPS. We certainly had no complaints when playing the game on our PS4 Pro.

In an interview with PlayStation Magazine, Executive Producer Jon Bloch discussed how the team was approaching the PS4 Pro when it came to Metro Exodus. “We are putting special attention into the PS4 Pro to ensure we are using every bit of power that it provides.”

Of course, it’s worth noting that in order to get full use out of your PS4 Pro when playing any kind of game, you’ll need to have it hooked up to a 4K display. If not, you’ll only be playing the game in 1080p, so there won’t be much difference to playing on a standard PS4.

You may notice a slight improvement in some graphical details, and maybe some slightly shorter loading times, but the 4K, HDR display is what’ll make your games truly pop on PS4 Pro.
