Marvel’s Avengers is finally out, and with it a slew of new Trophies and achievements for perspective glory hunters to add to their collection. Given that the game also offers a variety of difficulty options though, you may be wondering: Is there a difficulty trophy and achievement in Avengers Game?
Fortunately for you, we’ve done the leg work and found an answer.
Is There a Difficulty Trophy and Achievement in Avengers Game?
As of this article’s writing, no, there is not a difficulty-related trophy or achievement in Marvel’s Avengers.
In terms of the game’s multiplayer, all of the trophies and achievements are related to completing specific tasks, such as reaching a certain level with a hero, opening a certain number of chests containing collectibles and so on.
This shouldn’t be too surprising though, given that you can’t manually alter the difficulty for any of the multiplayer modes.
The single-player campaign, meanwhile, does offer different difficulty settings, but you won’t earn any specific trophies or achievements tied to these settings. Instead, all of the accolades are reserved for reaching key points in the story; recruiting specific heroes, completing a specific mission and so forth.
As such, there’s no incentive to change the difficulty at any point in your playthrough of Marvel’s Avengers, but there’s also no penalty for raising and lowering it as you see fit either.
Should you be having trouble making it through a section, or find the enemies too much of pushovers to have any fun fighting, then you can alter the difficulty to your liking on a level by level basis.
Hopefully this cleared up whether there’s a difficulty Trophy and Achievement in Marvel’s Avengers. For more on the game, check out our guide wiki. It has plenty of tips, tricks and info tied to a variety of hot topics like how to use Photo Mode and what the level caps are.
