How to Take Over a District From a Boss in Mafia III
Capturing the different districts of New Bordeaux is one of the main goals of Mafia III, as it will move the story along and allow you to generate revenue by assigning one of your underbosses there. Each district you capture will bring you one step closer to taking down the Marcano crime family. It’s a bit of a process to fully take over a district in Mafia III, however, so we’re here to help break things down.
The very first thing you need to do when taking a district in Mafia III is meet with Donovan. You’ll be granted certain story missions that have Lincoln meeting up with his ally to gain information on the Marcano’s activities and how you can put a stop to them. Each district is watched over by a boss, who’ll only come out to face you when you’ve completed enough missions.
After talking with Donovan, you’ll be given a selection of other missions that can include attacking rackets, taking down smuggling rings, killing enforcers, and more. Lincoln will have two contacts per district, and he’ll need to talk to them, complete their objectives, and bring down two different rackets to bring the district’s boss out of hiding.
After completing all of the racket objectives in Mafia III, you’ll get the chance to face down a Marcano boss and either kill them or potentially recruit them (if you have an active junction box in that area).
Once you bring down the boss and take control of the district, you’ll then have the option to assign an underboss and start reaping the rewards.
And that’s all you need to know on the matter! Make sure to check back with Twinfinite and our ever-growing wiki for more tips, tricks, and guides on Mafia III.
