Getting Mounts in Lost Ark
Mounts can be obtained through a couple of ways in Lost Ark. The primary way of obtaining them is simply by playing through the main story quests and picking up any side quests you come across. Some quests will offer you mounts as a reward, and one of the early story quests will give you a free horse when you first reach Prideholme.
Mounts are pretty useful as they offer high movement speed, allowing you to cover a large distance very quickly.
To access your mounts menu, hit the Alt and V keys at the same time on your keyboard, then select the mount you want to ride, and you’re good to go. For easier access, you can also use your mouse to left-click on a mount and drag it to your hotbar.
Once you do that, you can click it on your hotbar to summon it, or just press the keybind for that hotbar slot.
It’s worth noting that you can also purchase special mounts from the in-game store, though this will require you to spend real money. The purchased mounts have slightly higher movement speed than the ones you get from just playing the game normally, but the difference is pretty minimal.
