Bombs in Link’s Awakening are not acquired in the game as a key item in a dungeon, but getting them are important when it comes to finding hidden secrets, pieces of hearts, and seashells.

Bombs can be purchased at the Town Tool shop in Mabe Village, the starting town in the game. You can buy a pack of 10 bombs for 10 rupees, which is pretty inexpensive if you ask me.

If you’re short on rupees, you can always just cut some grass in front of the shop or play some games at the Trendy Game.

Don’t worry though, the shop in Mabe Village won’t be the only place to get bombs from. You’ll also find some in dungeons and out on the field randomly by way of enemy drops.

You’ll be using bombs to destroy cracked walls, defeat enemies, and break specific objects.

To sum things up:

  1. You can buy bombs from the Town Tool shop.

It costs 10 rupees for a pack of 10 bombs.

  2. You can also get them from defeating enemies.

  3. Make sure to equip them by going into the item menu and assigning them to a button.

And that’s all you need to know about how to get bombs in Link’s Awakening. For more on the Switch title, do be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide and our scored review.
