How to Level Up Fast in Kingdom Hearts 3
Sora’s journey through the many and varied lands of Kingdom Hearts 3 will not be an easy one. Powerful Nobodies, innumerable Heartless and the relentless members of Organisation XIII are just a few challenges that will need to be overcome along the way. Here’s how to level up fast in Kingdom Hearts 3
Like any good action-RPG, Kingdom Hearts 3 rewards skilled play. But no matter how skilled you are, there will come a time where you will need to grind out a few levels to keep up with the foes you will be facing.
KH3 doesn’t have any cheap and easy tricks to do this though, you are going to have to put in the work. However, there are a couple things you can do to ensure that you don’t wind up under-leveled for the content you are facing.
Don’t run from encounters. Whether you find yourself ambushed in the sewers of Twilight Town, or find yourself facing off against foes in Arendelle’s tundra, each encounter has been placed by the developers for one singular purpose: to award you EXP.
Thunder is your best friend when trying to grind for experience. It’s the best spell to use against groups of enemies, and especially if you’re running through lower level enemies you can spam a few Thunders to mop up the entire group.
Ensuring you do this is crucial. And while you can revisit worlds for a little extra grinding, if you make sure to deal with everything thrown at you, this shouldn’t be necessary. The difficulty curve in Kingdom Hearts 3 is fairly lenient, provided you are playing on the right difficulty.
In particular, The Caribbean is a great place to grind for some experience. Sailing the high seas you’ll run into Heartless ships, and each one awards a few hundred experience when sunk. Sail to each of the optional islands taking out ships along the way, then land, and take out the groups of Heartless that spawn.
The Caribbean is by the largest area in the game, and you won’t have to deal with any loading screens between islands or anything. This makes it, generally, the easiest place to rack up experience. However, keep in mind that you won’t reach the Carribean until you’ve beaten a majority of the other worlds.
Make sure to experiment with different Keyblades, mixing up your arsenal can make a world of difference. Be sure to check out our guide on How to Unlock All Keyblades in Kingdom Hearts 3 if you want to change things up a bit.
Hopefully, this will help you see Sora’s adventure through to the close, and learn how to level up fast in Kingdom Hearts 3. It’s been a long time coming, and you owe it to yourself to see how this story ends.
