Jedi Fallen Order: How to Get All Lightsaber Colors

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gives players the option to customize their lightsaber. From the color, to various other parts such as the hilt and the emitter. Obviously, the color of your neon blade is the most significant, visible change, but there are only two colors — green and blue — to choose from at the beginning of the game. Here’s how to get all lightsaber colors in Jedi Fallen Order.

Getting All Lightsaber Colors in Jedi Fallen Order

There are a total of eight lightsaber colors in Jedi Fallen Order. Green and Blue are unlocked from the beginning, but if you want to unlock the others, you’ll need to wait until you unlock the planet Ilum, which you can travel to via the Mantis.

This happens naturally as part of the story, after Cal heads to Dathomir to explore the other Jedi tomb here.

You can’t miss unlocking the other lightsaber colors as part of this quest, so just sit tight and you’ll get there eventually. After visiting Ilum and completing the quest here, you’ll unlock these five lightsaber colors:

  • Magenta
  • Purple
  • Yellow
  • Cyan
  • Indigo

To get the orange lightsaber color, you’ll need to have pre-ordered the game. This color was a special pre-order bonus item, so if you picked the game up a bit later, you won’t be able to get it.

That being said, it could always come as DLC or as part of a free update sometime in the future, but for now nothing’s been confirmed.

Can You Get a Red Lightsaber in Fallen Order?

Unfortunately, no. Red is the only obvious color that’s been omitted from your selection. It’s probably because it’s the lightsaber color associated with the Dark Side, Sith Lords and so on. Probably don’t want a young Jedi going that way.
