Is Legion in Mass Effect Andromeda?

Recommended Videos

BioWare’s latest RPG is here. Mass Effect Andromeda is setting another entry in the acclaimed space opera series, this time abandoning the original trilogy for an adventure in a new galaxy. For those of you Legion fans, though, you may be wondering if old characters are going to show up here.

Well, sad news guys. BioWare is planning for Andromeda to be entirely separate from the original trilogy. That means you shouldn’t be expecting any returning characters during your journey.

Legion also faces an issue of canon. BioWare has yet to establish what ending of Mass Effect 3 is official, and Legion’s fate kind of sort of depends heavily on this. So long as the original trilogy’s fate remains on the line, Legion isn’t going anywhere fun.

Fret not though, there are plenty of new faces to meet along your Mass Effect Andromeda journey. There likely won’t be any Geth, but you can expect Salarians, Turians, Asari, and some brand new alien species of friends. And unlike Legion, many of them will be romance-able.

Let us know what old Normany crew character you’d want to return in Mass Effect Andromeda most in the comments below!
