Developed by Remedy Games and Sam Lake, who’s best known for his work on Alan Wake and Quantum Break, Control is a brand new third-person action game that has you exploring the mysterious Federal Bureau of Control. If you’re wondering whether Control is on Xbox Game Pass, we’ve got you covered. Here’s what you need to know.
Is Control on Game Pass?
The sad news is, no, Control isn’t on Xbox Game Pass at the time of writing. Despite having developed exclusive games for Xbox in the pass, Remedy has opted to make Control a multi-platform game.
This means that it wasn’t guaranteed to be on Game Pass on day one, unlike other first-party Microsoft and Xbox titles.
That being said, though, this doesn’t mean that Control won’t eventually come over to Game Pass in the future. Taking a look at the current catalogue, there are tons of multi-platform games from third-party developed, even including the relative Metro Exodus.
So there’s no reason why Remedy’s latest title couldn’t come to Microsoft’s subscription service eventually.
In the meantime, you’ll have to make do with actually purchasing the game either physically or through your digital storefront of choice. Since the game is multi-platform, this means you can choose to play it on either PS4, Xbox One, or PC.
If things change and the game gets added to the subscription service in the future, we’ll update this article accordingly to let you know.
