What the Sub-Zero DLC Release Date Is for Injustice 2

Injustice 2 has been out for quite some time, but fans are still logging in every day to complete multiverse challenges and take each other on online. While the roster is already pretty impressive, more characters are coming to the game via DLC at later dates. Mortal Kombat’s very own Sub-Zero is one such character, and the ice cold killer’s release date is actually a lot sooner than you think.

While we knew back when the announcement was first made that Sub-Zero would come to Injustice 2 sometime in July, we didn’t have a specific date. However, just over a week later, NetherRealm’s Creative Director, Ed Boon, tweeted out the following image revealing the DLC release date.

As you can see, it looks like the Sub-Zero DLC’s release date is July 11. This is when Sub-Zero is available for Season Pass or Ultimate Pack owners. Those wanting to simply purchase the chilly fighter separately will have to wait until July 18. Currently, any information on when the other DLC fighters will be arriving has yet to be announced.

Of course, don’t expect Sub-Zero to play the exact same in Injustice 2 as he does in Mortal Kombat. There will be a few tweaks to ensure he fits in with the gameplay style, but fear not, you’ll still recognize a few moves.
