For fans of EA and Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends, you will be getting one more way to play as your favorite Legend in the coming days. For those looking to make sure that you are part of the first wave of players to experience the action on the go, here’s how to pre-register for Apex Legends Mobile on Android devices.

Pre-Registering for Apex Legends Mobile

For now, we know that the pre-registration is open to players worldwide, with a few exceptions of China, Russia, and Belarus. Interested players can follow these steps to complete the process.

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store via your Android device

  2. Search for Apex Legends Mobile via the search bar

    Tap on the right listing from the results that appear.

  3. Tap the Pre-register button

  4. Tap ‘Install when available’ to have the game automatically installed when it releases

    If not, you will receive a notification on launch day instead.

Alternatively, you can do so via your web browser through this Google Play Store link. Pre-registration for iOS devices are not active as of yet.

Apex Legends Mobile Changes

There are also Community Rewards up for grabs during the pre-registration period. As the numbers grow, more rewards will be unlocked when the Apex Legends Mobile launches. At the current numbers of more than 7.5 million pre-registrations, the Founder’s Badge, Banner Frame – Bloodhound, Banner Pose – Bloodhound, and Epic Skin – R99 are already unlocked. Next up will be the Epic Skin for Bloodhound at 10,000,000 pre-registrations.

As part of the move to mobile, certain aspects of the game have been redesigned with streamlined controls and optimizations put in place for a better experience. According to the official website for Apex Legends Mobile, here are some things you can look forward to:

  • MOBILE-FIRST ADAPTATIONS & INNOVATIONS – New Legends, maps, gameplay, modes, progressions, and live events constantly expand the gameplay variety to keep the experience fresh and new every season.
  • THE IMMERSIVE, EVER-EVOLVING APEX UNIVERSE-Join the Games across the Outlands, where unpredictable conditions, challenges and Legends are continuously introduced to test players’ skills.

Do note that there will be no cross-play with console or PC versions of the game, and Apex Legends Mobile will feature own Battle Passes, collectible cosmetics, and unlockables that are unique to itself.
