Seeing as this is a beta, you’re likely to find little issues that will hopefully be resolved by the time the full release comes along. However, some issues are a little more annoying than others. How To Fix Mislabeled Fire Selector Icons on the FTAC Recon

When you hit the proper level in the Modern Warfare 2 beta, the game gives you access to the FTAC Recon battle rifle. Once you take it out, though, you might notice there’s something weird. It turns out on the full-auto fire selector icon only shoots in semi-auto, whereas it’s vice versa on the semi-auto icon. That’s right, there’s a bug with the fire selector icons.

The reality is there isn’t anything you do to fix this aside from being aware it’s an issue and staying vigilant about it when using the weapon. It’s annoying when you just pull out the gun and can’t figure out why it won’t do what you want it to, but as long as you keep it in mind, it shouldn’t matter too much.

We are unsure if this might be fixed before the end of the PlayStation beta, or even in any scheduled beta duration. If it does get fixed we will be sure to update this and let you know.
