For the completionist trainers out there looking to catch ’em all, there’s one item you’ll absolutely want to unlock. Here’s how to get the National Dex in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl.

The National Pokedex unlocks new areas to explore, including other parts of the Battle Zone where many wild Pokemon from beyond the confines of Sinnoh roam. You’ll also gain access to the PokeRadar, which populates many different areas with more Pokemon to capture. Further, subsequent battles with trainers, such as Gym Leaders and the Elite Four, will feature different Pokemon during rematches.

The final, and arguably most appealing, perk of getting the National Dex is that you’ll be able to go to Ramanas Park and have the opportunity to capture Legendary Pokemon.
