Is Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Coming to Xbox One?

Recommended Videos

Ninja Theory’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is less than a week away, with players embarking on a vision quest into Viking Hell with Senua to fight for the soul of her dead lover. Hellblade has been shaping up nicely and looks great in some of the latest footage we’ve seen of the game. As such, there’s a good chance that players may be wondering if Ninja Theory has any plans to bring the game to the Xbox One.

Update: Ninja Theory has now confirmed that the game will launch on Xbox One, April. 11. It will feature an enhanced mode for those using the Xbox One X.

At the time of writing, Ninja Theory hasn’t announced that it’ll be bringing Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice to Xbox One. There is a slither of hope for Xbox fans, though. Back when the game was first shown at Gamescom 2014, it was stated that it would be “first to consoles on PS4.” This seems to suggest that, while PS4 owners will get to enjoy the game first, it’s more of a timed exclusive to the system, rather than an all-out exclusive.

While that is promising, Ninja Theory has yet to confirm anything officially. However, should they announce that it is, in fact, coming to the Xbox One, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.

Hellblade is out now on PC and PS4. Be sure to check out our wiki for more on the game.
