How to Beat Hela in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

Recommended Videos

The final encounter of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice pits you against Hela and it’s sort of tricky. It’s not difficult per se, as you have a very powerful sword that can kill just about anything effortlessly, but the end of the fight can be confusing for some and seemingly go on forever. Don’t worry though, we’ve got you covered.

This fight has three phases, none of which have you actually fight Hela directly. The first phase is very easy. There will be a ton of minions for you to kill, and most will die in one hit. Just combo your way through them until they’re all dead. Once the final one is put down, the next phase of the fight will begin.

This part is a little tougher as you’ll have to fight shadows of the previous bosses. Use your focus abilities to damage them and you should have no problem. They should be easier to kill this time around thanks to the weapon you now have, but remember all of the tricks you used to beat each one before. When that’s done it’s time for the final phase.

All you need to do here is die. That’s it. Let the infinitely spawning enemies kill you and the final cutscene will play signalling the end of the fight and your victory over your nightmares.
