Developed by Supergiant Games, Hades was in early access development before finally getting its full release on PC and Nintendo Switch just a couple days ago. Unlike the studio’s previous games, this is an action roguelite game with tons of variables to keep each run feeling fresh. Here’s how to spawn Chaos in Hades.
How to Spawn Chaos in Hades
Chaos is one of the gods that you can meet in Hades and get Boons from. Unlike the other gods in the game, though, you won’t see their symbol on a chamber door. Instead, whenever you clear an encounter, there’s a chance that you might see a glowing portal on the ground near you. Zagreus will likely make a comment about it when it appears.
Interact with the portal to go through it, and you’ll meet Chaos. You’ll then be able to talk with them and get a Boon. However, this Boon will debuff you for a set number of encounters before transforming into something more useful, and you can see the details of it from Chaos’ Boon list.
In addition to that, it’s also worth noting that you will take a bit of damage by default whenever you jump into the portal. This means that accepting a Boon from Chaos is extremely high risk and high reward, and the Boons can be worth it if you’re sure that you’ll be able to handle the health loss and debuff.
However, if you give Chaos a jar of Nectar, you’ll receive the Cosmic Egg Keepsake, which prevents you from taking any damage when entering a portal. If you plan on building around Chaos’ Boons, this is a good Keepsake to take with you.
That’s all you need to know about how to spawn Chaos in Hades. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
