Season Pass – Gears of War 4

Gears of War 4’s post-launch DLC plan can be a little confusing on the surface of it. All players will have access to the DLC maps on a rotating cycle at two per month for a year. However, if you’re a Season Pass owner, this isn’t something you’ll have to worry about.

You see, Gears of War 4’s Season Pass grants purchasers of the $50 add-on permanent ownership of all 24 addition maps that will be available to everyone. That means that you won’t have to worry about your favorite map disappearing once the month has ended. These will be available for private play on dedicated servers, and all competitive Versus modes, as well as Horde 3.0.

You’ll also get hold of five exclusive digital items that come as part of the Vintage VIP Pack, including the Vintage JD character skin, Vintage Gnasher, Dropshot weapon skins, Vintage JD Emblem, and a Vintage JD Bounty to help boost your XP haul.

Season Pass holders also get access to an exclusive ‘Developer Playlist’ which will contain new maps, modes, and features before they’re released to the rest of the player base. Consider this early access to upcoming online features.

To round the Season Pass offerings off are six Gear Packs to unlock character skins, bounty cards, weapon skins and more.
