Fortnite: Where to Search Ammo Boxes at Shiver Inn, Ice Throne & Workshop

Fortnite Winterfest’s main festivities died out yesterday with the release of the final challenge for players to earn some wintery cosmetics. The last challenge simply requires players to: ‘Search Ammo Boxes at the Workshop, Shiver Inn, and the Ice Throne‘ in Fortnite. In this guide, we’ll talk you through where each of these locations are so you can complete this challenge nice and easily.

Shiver Inn, Ice Throne & Workshop Locations on Fortnite’s Map

• Shiver Inn – G7
• Workshop – B6
• Ice Throne – D2

Fortnite Workshop Location

For this challenge, you’ll have to make your way to one of the three locations we’ve circled and included the map references for above. The Workshop is actually a landmark that’s been given a festive makeover for Winterfest. It’s directly west of Weeping Woods, so it’s not too tricky to find.

Ice Throne

Directly north of Pleasant Park in D2, players can find Fortnite’s Ice Throne. As its name suggests, it’s a giant chair made out of ice so it isn’t too tricky to spot when you’re nearby. This is probably the worst of the three places you can go to search ammo boxes for this Winterfest challenge as there simply isn’t a whole lot of them.

Shiver Inn

Finally, Shiver Inn can be found in grid reference G7 and is easily the best place to search ammo boxes for the challenge. It’s a massive building made out of ice between southeast of Lazy Lake and northeast of Misty Meadows.

After collecting seven ammo boxes from any of these three locations, you’ll complete the challenge. You unlock the Disco Dive Contrail as your reward.
