Fortnite Week 6 Challenge Guide
Blow Up Fishing Holes at Sharky Shell, Sweaty Sands or Flopper Pond
Fishing Holes are the ripples in bodies of water around Fortnite’s map that have fish swimming around in them. They can be blown up by throwing a grenade into them, using a motorboat’s rocket, or firing a rocket launcher at one. We’ve marked the locations of Sharky Shell, Sweaty Sands, and Flopper Pond on the map below:
Destroy 3 Motorboats
Motorboats can be found all over the map in various places by bodies of water. For example, some can be found at Sweaty Sands, Coral Castle, and around the edges of the island.
The best place to land to complete this challenge, however, is Craggy Cliffs. On the north coast, you can find two Motorboats.
Open a few chests in the named location itself and then head to the motorboats and blow them up. You can then complete this challenge in two games at most.
Blow Up Fishing Holes at Lazy Lake, Lake Canoe, and near Steamy Stacks – Fortnite Week 6 Challenges
This is the same as the fishing holes challenge at Sharky Shell, Sweaty Sands and Flopper Pond, but in different locations. We’ve circled the fishing hole locations at Lazy Lake, Lake Canoe and Steamy Stacks below.
Catch 7 Fish
To catch fish, you’ll need either a fishing rod, or a harpoon. Once you’ve got one of these, look out for those fishing holes we mentioned before. They look like this if you’re unfamiliar with them.
Now, aim your fishing rod so it lands in the center of these and wait for the float to sink. Once it does, press RT/R2/R/LMB to reel in the catch.
If you’ve got a harpoon, you can fire this into a fishing hole and immediately catch a fish.
Signal the Coral Buddies – Fortnite Week 6 Challenges
To signal the Coral Buddies, you need to land at Coral Castle and interact with closed sea shells that look like this.
They have a blue glow around them, so you’ll know which ones you need to hit.
There’s one shell in the bottom left corner of Coral Castle under the purple plant, another on the south middle island within Coral Castle near a rock, and the third is at the top left little island next to the large rock. We’ve marked their locations on the map below.
They’re all on land, so you won’t need to go diving through the water to find them.

Destroy 7 Boats
For this one, you’ll want to head to either Craggy Cliffs, Retail Row, Lazy Lake, or Lake Canoe.
At Craggy Cliffs and Lake Canoe, you’ll find a number of wooden boats and canoes you can break that will count towards this challenge. At Retail Row and Lazy Lake, you can find some boats inside some of the shop buildings here. Simply destroy seven to complete this Fortnite week 6 challenge.
Destroy Fishing Rod Barrels – Fortnite Week 6 Challenges
Another easy challenge, this time you need to destroy fishing rod barrels. These are wooden barrels with a bunch of fishing rods sticking out the top of them. You can find a ton of them at Cap’N Carp at the center of Craggy Cliffs.
Head inside, break the fishing rod barrels with your harvester, and you’ll have the challenge completed in no time.
Fishing rod barrels are scattered all over the map where there’s a body of water and fishing holes present, so this challenge shouldn’t cause you much trouble even if you don’t land at Craggy Cliffs.
