How to Get Free Skins in Fortnite

Cosmetics are a huge part of Fortnite Battle Royale. Whether it be the superhero-themed skins of the current season, or the simpler ones of the game’s early days, there’s always an outfit for your character to wear to stand out on the battlefield. However, some of them can be quite expensive. Here’s how you can get your hands on some free skins, if you don’t want to fork out a lot of money on V-Bucks.

Firstly, PlayStation Plus subscribers can get a PlayStation themed skin for free by heading to the store on Sony’s console. Other players will have to look to Twitch, however, for the Twitch Prime rewards. Twitch Prime members (people who have linked their Twitch account to their Amazon Prime account) can get two bundles of Fortnite swag, each containing a few skins and other cosmetics. These can then be linked to your Fortnite account for you to use in-game. If you’re looking for a free umbrella, too, you are awarded with one in each season for getting your first Victory Royale.

That’s all you need to know about how to get free skins in Fortnite Battle Royale. For more on the game, check out our wiki guide.
