How to Fix Profile Query Failed Error in Fortnite Battle Royale

Fortnite Battle Royale is the hot game to be playing right now, offering up a colorful take on the battle royale genre. While the game received its latest update just a couple of days ago, and some strange things have been posted up on Twitter, some players are currently coming across a profile query failed issue.

The profile query failed issue is nothing to do with your end whatsoever, and it’s literally just a case of waiting for it to be fixed. In fact, as we’ve been typing this post, the Fortnite Twitter account has tweeted letting players know that Fortnite Battle Royale will be undergoing maintenance to fix this issue. We’ve included the tweet for you below. The tweet does note that another tweet will follow when the downtime has finished and the game services are back to normal. So, for now, just sit tight and you’ll be back on the Battle Bus in no time at all (hopefully).

We are currently undergoing downtime to unblock a small number of players who were affected by a recent backend service update.

There’s no word on exactly how long the downtime will go on for to fix the profile query failed issue in the game, but we’ll take an educated guess that it’ll be back up within the hour. We’ll keep you posted.
