HOW TO GET SUPPLY DROPS IN FORTNITE BATTLE ROYALE

Recommended Videos

Finding Epic and Legendary weapons in Fortnite Battle Royale can obviously give you a tremendous advantage in battle. These buffed weapons have extra damage, range, and less recoil than more common varieties, but finding them is generally luck of the draw. Chests located throughout the map are one way of obtaining them, but the addition of supply drops to Battle Royale now means they quite literally fall from the sky, too.

Supply drops are random drops of crates that contain even more loot than a chest. Inside you’re likely to get a high-spec weapon, resources, and items. All you need to do to get them is listen carefully for a beep sound, similar to the one you hear when the game boots and you enter the social area before a match begins. This beep noise indicates a supply drop is on the way to your area, so keep your head up and scan the sky for incoming balloons. Supply drops typically occur when a new safe zone has been established.

Be extremely careful approaching the supply drop because other players will certainly want to get their own slice of the pie. Approach them carefully, break them open and gather the items quickly before making an escape.

That is everything you need to know about supply drops in Fortnite Battle Royale. For more information on the game, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
